The heavy-duty floor system is a set of epoxy resin based materials for making multi-layer, seamless floors. It is designed for indoor use in facilities exposed to high mechanical load, such as industrial halls, warehouses, wholesale outlets, workshops, sewage treatment plants, schools, hospitals, laboratories, shops etc. We also offer a floated floor system with increased UV radiation resistance, which allows outdoor use.
The system has the following advantages: resistance to severe mechanical loads, high hardness and low abrasive wear, aesthetic appearance, seamless, resistant to most chemical substances, anti-slip properties.
The heavy-duty epoxy floor system is primarily used on concrete substrates. It is available in two versions that differ with regard to the quartz aggregate used. Using coloured sand with a granulation of 0.4 - 2 mm, it is possible to obtain aesthetic looking floors with high mechanical resistance (so-called stone carpets) that, depending on the granulation of the sand used, are usually 3 - 5 mm thick.. In order to obtain floors with a very high mechanical resistance, transparent quartz sand or quartz grit is used, which allows a thickness of 3 - 15 mm, depending on the expected load.
