The NOVOFLOOR ST stabilising layer is one of the necessary elements of the subfloor for water-permeable outdoor sports floorings. The stabilising layer makes it possible to save time needed to build concrete or concrete-asphalt subfloors.
In 24 hours following the NOVOFLOOR ST application, it is already possible to apply next sports floor layers. NOVOFLOOR ST enhances the elasticity of the entire floor structure and improves impact energy damping properties.
The NOVOFLOOR ST stabilising layer is based on polyurethane resins which are highly resistant to changing weather conditions, including low temperatures. NOVOFLOOR ST is applied by a spreading machine on a suitably prepared substructure.
The substructure made of crushed-stone aggregate must be compliant with the technical design and meet all criteria regarding the execution and acceptance of works related to sports field surface construction.
See below for a typical substructure layers arrangement:
1 – drainage pipes covered with rinsed aggregate (8-16 mm) in the native soil – approx. 400 mm thick
2 – compacted sand sub-crust – approx. 100 mm thick
3 – crushed-stone aggregate (5-40 mm) – approx. 150 mm thick
4 – crushed-stone aggregate (0-6 mm) – approx. 50 mm thick
When the above substrate is ready, the stabilising layer is laid. It may be constructed in two different variants depending on the elasticity required: flexible or hard.
